Polyferro ist eine Reflexion über Graffiti. An Hand der unwirklichen Situation legaler Zugbesprühungen, geschaffen durch einen Spielfilmdreh, ergibt sich die Möglichkeit einer ausführlichen Beobachtung dieses Phänomens in einer Art Laborsituation. Die Herangehensweise dieses Films ist dabei geprägt von dem Wunsch, eine ruhige und offene Form zu finden. Unaufgeregt und langsam den Vorgang zu begleiten und durch die Art der Montage zu einem anderen Verständnis des zu Sehenden einzuladen. Der Bruch wurde dabei intuitiv zu einem bestimmenden Stilelement in der Bild- wie der Tonebene und schließlich ganz zur Struktur des Filmes.

Polyferro is a reflection on Graffiti. The unreal conjuncture of legal Trainwriting, offered through a feature film shooting, allows the detailed observation of this phenomenon in a kind of laboratory situation. The approach of this film is the wish of finding a quiet and open form. To attend the action in an unagitated and steady way and invite by means of the montage to a different understanding of the subject matter. In doing so the break/ fracture became intuitively a constitutive element of style, on the image as well as on the sound level, finally shaping the entire structure of the film.
